The reach and wheelbase have grown considerably and the bike is a beast but its still fun to ride in the forest and on more mellow trails without feeling massively overbiked. I can attest to the suspension being very plush. My back doesn't hurt anymore after long rides :-) The bike pedals quite well and as long as you're seated in a climb, there's no pedal bob. I leave the shock in the "+" position. If you're standing up mashing the pedals, there's some pumping but I think that's to be expected. I wonder what the anti-squat numbers are with this new kinematic.Pegasushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01744877966563178510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-5463646721601060072020-11-08T00:56:25.841+01:002020-11-08T00:56:25.841+01:00I'm curious too. Do you think the new 2021 Slash will have better or worse pedaling effeciency vs. the previous models with the new set-up? Trek has done away with the RE:active for 2021 models so I'm curious. I took a chance and did a "blind buy" of 2021 Slash. So far I'm very impressed and haven't noticed much pedal bob. It would be great to get your analysis.

Best Regards,
KayvanPegasushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01744877966563178510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-24848984118891430432020-10-02T21:30:36.503+02:002020-10-02T21:30:36.503+02:00Yes, I didn't noticed that the 2021 was so dif...Yes, I didn't noticed that the 2021 was so different, but I have just checked and there is a lot of stuff going on: more travel, longer stroke on the shock and a new rocker arm that's going to be a bit more progressive...

Best regards,
Tony.Antonio Osunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075236093614144240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-15318976050320156952020-10-01T23:32:48.894+02:002020-10-01T23:32:48.894+02:00Hi,

Muchas gracias.

PacoAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13939643306966654861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-42810479005601776142018-05-30T17:16:34.379+02:002018-05-30T17:16:34.379+02:00Hi Antonio,

Saludos.Josep Barberà.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09869671497387547688noreply@blogger.com
