You probably don't know who he is, but he's a Spanish journalist (Bike a Fondo). The persistence of this notion is strange because you would think that it would have been blown away with all the other overblown nonsense following Santa Cruz's public repudiation of the voodoo aura that had once attached to VPP linkages. <br /><br />In the same publication a Lapierre Zesty was also reviewed. The Zesty has somewhat similar AS and BS curves to the Tallboy. Also, like the Talloy it had a forward projecting IC path. No mention of "pedal referenced suspension" for the Zesty though. As it happens the biggest difference between the basic suspension parameters of the two bikes is the contrasting leverage rate/ratio curves.
