Do you think with this frame’s leverage ratio, a coil shock will be ideal and would work well here? A cc DBcoil il 190x50.

ThanksAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06345163533886639133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-46390356127515476402018-01-05T03:20:53.068+01:002018-01-05T03:20:53.068+01:00Without bushings you get 0.9º steeper angles, and ...Without bushings you get 0.9º steeper angles, and 11mm higer BB.
Travel goes from 120mm to 135mm

With two bushings geometry keeps the same, travel I'm not sure. You have to check the frame clearance and see if you need to limit the shock travel or not. With one Bushing you are in the middle.

Best regards,
Tony.Antonio Osunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075236093614144240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-16609035194712385152018-01-03T11:03:40.709+01:002018-01-03T11:03:40.709+01:00Hi Antonio,

How will the kinematics and travel change with one and with two offset bushings?

Thanks
I think both bikes have the same pedall...Hi Daniel, I think both bikes have the same pedalling performance and the LRs are very close too. The Evil is bit softer at the beginning of the travel, but the difference it's not that big. Braking is the only parameter were you can see a big differences between these two bikes, but brake-squat is never a deciding factor.

You are not making a mistake with any of this two, so you can forget about Kinematics and pick the one you like the best...

Best regards,
Tony.Antonio Osunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075236093614144240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-50836993637814751072016-08-25T07:46:42.090+02:002016-08-25T07:46:42.090+02:00Hi Antonio, how would you compare this to the Foll...Hi Antonio, how would you compare this to the Following? They seem quite similar (DW, 120mm progressive frame, geometry, etc.)... What are the major differences in suspension function, especially for a bigger rider who likes to *think* he rides hard? But also values great braking performance and lower pk? Thanks in advance.Daniel Andrizzihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17337302829372887507noreply@blogger.com
