The bike was awesome to ride in rough but it was hard to pedal in rough. This bike had an idler and the mechanics worked just fine. I think what made it bad to pedal was the overall chain growth because of the massive rearward axle path. The rearward axle path made it also hard to corner.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-69950172424066310152014-10-05T22:53:46.613+02:002014-10-05T22:53:46.613+02:00Hello Leo, It's really nice to have you here. ...Hello Leo, It's really nice to have you here.

I have a couple of questions: The bike is designed for a 1x11, right? So, what do you think about hight pivot bikes with Idlers or floating Idlers? In theory they are pretty good, but the execution it's a bit tricky...

Best regards,
Tony.Antonio Osunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075236093614144240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650400550712092979.post-11323458723052550892014-10-05T21:46:08.109+02:002014-10-05T21:46:08.109+02:00Lo siento, no hablo español.
I'm the designer...Lo siento, no hablo español.

I'm the designer of the Pole bikes, Leo Kokkonen. We trust much to the shock for the pedalling efficiency. The CS lenght is long because of the forward axle path. The bike shortens when cornering and the long CS helps also in uphill.

The bike is designed especially for trail usage. The frame is light and there is no need for chainguide. with NW system. The concentric pivot location helps for transportation and storage because you can fold the bike.

Here we have some videos of the bike. https://plus.google.com/114150203638473253678/videos

Also you can follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/polebicycles
